Arun K. Govada is a Director of UDP International having worked extensively in business strategy and development running market insight analysis across interest markets around the globe to identify new areas of focus, both in geographies and in service offerings. Arun provides project management expertise in the proposal and project delivery phases of all work. Arun has over 10 years of comprehensive experience in planning projects with a budget and a schedule of targets and executing effectively with an efficient team.

Arun is a Tourism Development Expert, having worked previously at New York City Company as the Director for Tourism Development for Asia Pacific. He also worked at Weave Coliving in Hong Kong completing the adaptive reuse of a 3 star hotel into a successful coliving brand for Weave attracting major funding from investors to the parent company. Prior to this Arun was at IBM, both in New York and Shanghai, China in global project management and business transformation capacities that interfaced directly with Senior Vice Presidents and C-Level Executives. The goals and outputs of these roles were focused on increasing supply chain efficiency, and employee productivity and overall business process flow – leading to savings that impacted the bottom line. The project teams were globally based, from New York to Releigh, Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai, Chengdu, Bengaluru, New Delhi, Budapest, Paris, Dublin, and London – which highlights Arun’s time management skills and experience in working with individuals from different backgrounds and in varied cultural contexts. 

Arun holds a Bachelor’s Degree with Cum Laude Honours from the Boston University School of Management with a concentration in Operations Management. He is also pursuing a masters degree in Music Technology, Entertainment and Real Estate at Gallatin School, New York University.
